The autonomous administration of the Basque Country has a platform that deploys the systems needed to receive invoices in electronic format from its suppliers. Through this platform, the regional government implements its own General Entry Point for Invoicing (PGEFe), as the channel for invoice reception and processing with the regional administration and its affiliated agencies.
Regional government suppliers can send their bills in Facturae format, as set forth in Law 25/2013 on e-invoicing and creation of the accounting register for invoices in the public sector.
BASQUE HEALTH SERVICE
The Basque Health Service (Osakidetza) now has a platform up and running to receive and process all e-invoices issued in Facturae format by its suppliers.
Osakidetza has decided to develop its own Entry Point for e-Invoicing independently from the rest of the Basque administration.
REGIONAL COUNCILS (Alava, Guipúzcoa, Vizcaya)
The Provincial Councils of Alava, Guipuzcoa and Vizcaya have developed their own PGEFe (Entry Point for e-Invoicing ), through which all e-invoices are automatically entered in an electronic register of the corresponding Provincial Council and thereafter forwarded to the relevant institutions for processing and payment.
To make this automatic connection, EDICOM provides the Public Administrations Hub, a platform that integrates communications with any public administration of the Basque country, as well as its Health Service (Osakidetza) and Provincial Councils.Status:
